How to Annotate PDF in Mac OS X/Windows

Part 1. Annotate PDF in Mac OS X

To annotate a PDF file in Mac OS X, a Mac version PDF editor is needed. On Mac, you can use Preview to annotate a PDF. However, as far as I see, it is not so convenient to add comment as what you like with Preview because of its hidden submenus. Every time, you have to click the Annotation tool on the tool bar to reveal the annotation tools at the button of the main interface. Or you have to go to Tools>Annotation to select the annotation tools. For me, this is not friendly for users. Compared with Preview, I'd prefer Wondershare PDF Editor for Mac. Part 2. Annotate PDF in Windows XP/Vista/7

To annotate PDF on Windows PC, a Windows version PDF editor is needed. Unlike Mac, no free PDF editor for Windows computer is available. You have to use a third-party PDF tool. Here I'd like to recommend Wondershare PDF Editor. Though it is a newly app, many users have spoken highly of it.

See the main interface of Wondershare PDF Editor. All the annotation tools are on the Home Tab toolbar. Click the Home Tab, and find the section named "Annotations".
